end the fed?

a noisy group of protesters on the corner in front of the federal reserve while ago, calling for repeal of the federal reserve act---signs reading "the fed caused this crisis" and "liberate america: say not to socialism" and "no more banker bailouts" and "end the fed" and a lot more----i'm not sure what they think would happen then, except that we would all have to rush out and buy us some gold-- and i just discovered that they have a web site and that they are part of a national day of protest "to restore sound money"----seems to be a ron paul kinda thing
