the river was beautiful today---dog and i finally found the parking for the east palisades off mt. paran road---completely unmarked and even the entrance sign had been painted over---not sure what's up with that other than that entrance is in the midst of a neighborhood in the city's affluently handicapped northwest side and there is the all-too-typical effort these days to privatize our public spaces
