dream cars

the high's "dream cars" exhibit was purty good, although some of the older cars seemed a little over-restored for my taste --- some of the newer ones i would have left on the drawing board

the original of this 1934 bughatti no longer exists --- this is a recreation that must have cost a gazillion dollars
this was by far the best thing there:  paul arzens' L'Œuf électrique, which he built under the nazi occupation in 1942, absolutely un-restored
wm. stout's 1936 scarab had the finest rear end i've ever seen, but it would have been a bitch to keep clean ---
