old friends and new buildings

a piggy lunch with cuzn patti at homegrown this afternoon --- i reminded her that we have known each other for almost forty years and she almost fell out of her chair laughing

 two more high rises, one apts and the other office, are underway along williams street at eighth street, both unfortunately totally out of my viewshed due to intervening buildings --- the wall of buildings along the east side of the downtown connector b/t fifth and tenth will be complete
