i drove to and from americus via u.s. 19 --- going down, it was mid-afternoon; coming back it was late afternoon --- it all looked like this south of thomaston --- it made for a nice drive, but what a colossal waste! meanwhile, the funding keeps going to roads at the expense of rail, or any type of public transit ---
