sheilds-etheridge farm is purty great --- in the same family for nearly 200 years, with an 1866 main house (remodeled c. 1900) and a slew of ancillary structures, mostly from the early twentieth century --- in spite of the farm's renown, somebody burned down one of the tenant houses last year ---
