kitty, kitty, kitty

NEW YORK - Kitty Carlisle Hart, whose long career spanned Broadway, opera, television and film, including the classic Marx Brothers movie "A Night at the Opera," has died at age 96, her son said Wednesday.

I grew up watching her on "What's My Line." Or was it "To Tell The Truth?" One of those.

She always struck me as poised, handsome, and intelligent.

96? If only to live so long and so well.

A good American in the good sense.
