vernacular georgia at arabia mountain

 an absolutely spectacular day for the vernacular georgia excursion to the arabia mountain national heritage area in the wilds of south dekalb and rockdale counties --- lotta rock, staring in lithonia
but wonderfully bucolic countryside for so close to atlanner, this looking out from what will be the heritage area's headquarters


the housworth-moseley house (c. 1843) is a fine example of what two gay boys with a lot of money can do to a property in ruinous condition, and do it in less than a year! the outside was all new material, but the interior had been little altered and the wooden walls and ceilings never painted ---
