south fork peachtree creek
dog and i dragged robert around 3+ miles of trails along and between the two forks of south peachtree creek this afternoon --- the old decatur waterworks ruins, including a breached dam, are on the burnt fork --- nice variety of terrain in a labyrinth of dirt trails in which one could easily get lost --- terrible problem with privet, some of it more than 20' tall but impressive loblolly, beech and river birch ---
dog was forced to get across the creek the same way we did: hopping across the six or eight sand bags there for our convenience ---the bags were spaced a bit further apart than he might have wanted, and since dog is slightly longer than a sand bag, it was a challenge for him --- got his feet, but he did it --- and did it again when we came back --- he liked the boardwalk and concrete "multi-use" trail better

Tolerant trees. Thank you dog for a sense of scale.
