atlanner christmas parade

great day for the xmas parade, low 40s and overcast --- the parade is usually downtown but the streetcar construction kinda messed it up I think, so they moved it to midtown, 16th to 5th --- which is why i watched it for the first time --- surprising number of spectators 

it was a good parade --- several purty good high school marching bands --- loved the begarlanded bass horns ---

the obligatory patriotic crank warning of the pitfalls of retirement

and giant balloons --- the crews holding the lines were on roller skates ---
