p'tree and eighth is a dangerous intersection: i've heard cars crashing into each other, a car crashing into the building, a car running into 25 ft metal light standard sending it crashing into the street, and general hoo-ha --- the sound of a car hitting two pedestrians is not as loud, but more disturbing
