an excellent evening with friends on the 23rd floor at twelve --- interesting assortmant of people, including a care exec here from addis ababa, an israeli trying to get in the same city as his boyfriend, a mexican academic, a curator of rare books, and some other nerdy people--- the flow of traffic on the downtown connector, the way it changed through the evening, and the white noise of the city were mesmerizing ---- thanks, julie
