i started going through ma's dresser yesterday, trying to find all of her rings, watches, and good jewelry --- i had seen this little ring before but didn't know the story behind it until j.c. told me he made it for her while he was on his destroyer escort in the pacific in 1944 --- made from a piece of molybdenum tubing
