most of my orchids are run-of-the-mill phalaeonopsis, but i never get tired of watching them bloom ---

some of them are not, and smell good too

my midtown history just got put on the back burner for a couple of months whilst i go back to work! today i have several hundred pages of reports to peruse before going to tennessee on monday to paw around another old house for pay --- kinda excited since the core of this one dates to the 1790s --- i haven't had the opportunity to work with many eighteenth-century buildings, since we have so very few here in the southeast.
