a synopsis

George Bush and Karl Rove may have dreamed of forcing a long time Republican majority on the country, but their complete incompetence at governing along with the contempt for the U.S. Constitution have done them in. They have run up the largest federal deficit in history, made America into a country that tortures, undermined civil liberties at every turn, gotten us into the quagmire that is the Iraq war, gutted environmental and consumer protection laws, ignored the looming threats of climate change and millions of uninsured Americans all while drastically cutting taxes for the rich, destroying America’s international reputation and creating a culture of corruption.
