we've come a long way when there's a contingent of gay atlanta police in the parade --- it's now the city's largest parade of the year ---

    great to see the gays in blue. sure did look spectacular. a long way from anita bryant days.

    the entire parade was longer, more diverse and more joyous than it has been in years.
