several wetland areas, like the one in the foreground of this video, are being re-established along poor clear creek, which remains buried from here south --- like a similar but larger project at the creek's headwaters in the old fourth ward, these wetlands are part of the city's larger sewer overhaul, which included managing storm water

there was a trio of them yesterday on tenth street with their stupid signs, and today there were more signs plus some preacher with a loudspeaker who harangued the crowd with his bullshit when he wasn't getting drowned out by the roar of the sinners --- finally an inspired group dressed all in white stopped silently in front of them and just stood there, backs turned while the rest of the parade went by --- the guy with the wheeled cross failed to show up this year
